Security analyst

Hawksman Technology is currently working with a global trading firm who are looking to hire a Security Analyst for their Singapore business. Role - Security Analyst Responsibilities: Administer SIEM for event correlation and threat detection. Assist with insider threat investigations. Assess security risks in new projects. Automate detection, response, and configuration using scripting. Create and update threat detection rules. Educate users on security best practices. Evaluate commercial and open-source security tools. Improve security posture through collaboration. Maintain internal documentation of processes. Manage SOAR playbooks, dashboards, and automation. Route internal support tickets for the Security team. Stay updated through conferences, seminars, and training. Triage global security alerts and respond to incidents. Requirements: 1-4 years experience. Knowledge of Incident Response Cycle, static & dynamic malware analysis, and core networking & cloud security concepts. Experience with SIEM and SOAR products, as well as data analysis from security sources (IPS, Web Security, etc.). Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ruby, or Perl, and experience with GitHub. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and excellent time management and communication abilities.
