Syndication Analyst SearchAsia Singapore Apply now Posted: 2 days ago | Type: Permanent | Salary: S$100k - S$150k Global Corporate Bank is looking to hire a Syndication Analyst to join their growing team due to business expansion. Responsibilities Origination of financing transactions partnering with internal stakeholders to build the asset book and raise the profile of the bank. Actively pitch for top-level lead mandates in the loans syndication space across South and South East Asia covering multiple industries including corporates, financial institutions, project and asset-backed financing. Prepare presentation, proposals and pitchbooks to back origination activities and offer credible financing solutions to clients. Assess credit profiles and financing requirements of potential clients to determine appropriate terms and structure while incorporating dynamic market developments. Oversee mandate letter and term sheet negotiations during the origination stage to ensure standard commercial, market and syndication provisions are in place. Lead documentation processes to ensure alignment with internal approvals and syndication standards. Collaborate closely with the Distribution team to facilitate a smooth and successful syndication process. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and peer banks through regular engagements and active networking to pursue opportunistic deal flows and sharpen market acumen. Stay updated on developing trends in loan capital markets to consistently generate new business leads / ideas and quality deliverables. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, any related discipline or higher; CFA is an advantage. 5-10 years’ experience in Corporate Banking / Loan Capital Markets / Loan Syndication / Structured Finance with strong credit and financial analytical attributes. Financial modeling skillset will be a strong plus.
