Job Title: Head of Al Shaheen Development The Head of Al Shaheen Development is responsible for the optimum development of the asset's hydrocarbon resource. Key objectives include determining the optimal production/injection balance and offtake level for the field, maximizing the full lifecycle from opportunity identification to abandonment, and overseeing subsurface development activities under a Joint Venture Agreement with North Oil Company (NOC). Key Responsibilities:
  1. Developing and implementing plans for major development projects, including All Gallaf Batch 3 and Ruya project
  2. Ensuring optimal production/injection balance and offtake level for the field
  3. Maximizing the full lifecycle of the field from opportunity identification to abandonment
  4. Overseeing subsurface development activities
Experience Requirements: Preferably 10 years of experience in petroleum engineering functions with a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams, including 5 years in a lead or supervisory position. Significant experience in field development and reservoir management, with broad theoretical and practical knowledge. Should have expertise in fundamental petroleum engineering principles, geological modeling, reservoir simulation, operations, economics, and risk analysis. Qualifications: The incumbent should hold a B.Sc. degree in Petroleum Engineering or an equivalent qualification. A postgraduate degree (M.Sc./Ph.D.) in a relevant discipline is preferred. Comprehensive training in all petroleum disciplines is essential, and membership in a relevant Professional Institution and Chartered/Professional Engineer status is desirable.
