  • Assist in Automation in preparation and validation of Regulatory reporting and financial reporting function of the Finance Department.
  • Assist in Automation in preparation and validation of periodical SAMA returns, Internal MIS and Head office Reporting Pack.
  • Drafting and validation of Accounting Manual.
  • Developing the SoP for the management to monitor and control performance against the budget.
  • Maintain balancing of General Ledger and reporting codes to accomplish the established MIS structure.
  • Assist in preparation and validation of the regulatory returns to CFO to ensure accuracy and compliance of prudential return guidelines and Banking Control Laws before submission to Regulator.
  • Assist in preparation and validation of the Head office Reporting Pack to CFO to ensure accuracy and its compliance w.r.t Timelines.
  • Provide assistance to CFO in preparation of branch budget including forecast, projected Cash flows, financial performance, Cap-Ex and Op-Ex.
  • Responsible to develop accounting procedures for all new products and development of the Bank's Accounting Manual, especially its update and validity.
  • Validate day-to-day accounting of expenses. This includes the routine month end entries for depreciation, expense provisions, etc. Advise other departmental staff on the appropriate account to be affected.
  • Check the accuracy of the data on the automated SAMA returns produced by the system, to ensure that the balances agree with the Bank's General Ledger.
  • Prepare and control the administration of the Bank's fixed assets and allocation of depreciation charges to Profit & Loss of the Branch.
  • Implement accounting procedures for new products for bookkeeping the outstanding balances and related income/expenses in appropriate Balance Sheet and P & L categories.
  • Validate and monitor financial and other financial reporting.
  • Assist the CFO in managing the financial control and accounting systems.
  • Identify the Company’s financial needs and provide advisory to CFO in preparation of Financial Budgets.
  • Review and advise rectification of the general accounting, cash management, and financial activities of the branch.
  • Recommend, implement and develop policies and institutes processes to ensure adherence to measures aimed at controlling financial risks.
  • Any other job pertaining to Finance Function as assigned by the management.
