Vessel Supervisor - Container Terminal Operations

Job Description Roles & Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct Vessel Safety inspections and work with Engineering teams to ensure that all cranes have completed their maintenance prior to commencing operations.
  2. Check that the cranes are released from the anchoring position and moved to Point of Work (POW) and restore in anchoring position after completion of work under the guidance of the wharf checker.
  3. Closely monitor the safe berthing & un-berthing of vessels and immediately report any concerns (berthing position, gangway position, any impact to berth, etc.).
  4. Ensure that unlashing and lashing operations of containers onboard the vessel are in line with the plan.
