Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team in the Gulf. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing accurate and timely cost estimates for construction projects in the region.

Responsibilities

  1. Conducting site visits to gather information about the project
  2. Analyzing construction plans and specifications to determine project requirements
  3. Preparing cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
  4. Consulting with contractors, architects, and engineers to discuss project specifications and requirements
  5. Preparing bid proposals and negotiating contracts with clients
  6. Maintaining accurate records of project costs and budgets

Skills and Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  2. 5-10 years of experience as an Estimator in the Gulf region
  3. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
  4. Proficiency in using cost estimating software and Microsoft Excel
  5. Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience as an estimator with specific experience in joinery and woodwork projects
  3. Strong knowledge of joinery materials, techniques, and furniture manufacturing processes
  4. Proficiency in estimation software and tools with the ability to prepare detailed cost breakdowns
  5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
  6. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
