We are now looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our growing product team. This role will report directly to the Head of Product and play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our user experience across our digital products. About the Role: As a Senior Product Designer at dopay, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive and engaging user experiences that drive adoption, retention, and satisfaction. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex financial workflows into seamless, accessible, and beautiful digital experiences. This role requires a strong UX and UI design foundation, user research capabilities, and the ability to create high-fidelity prototypes and design systems. The ideal candidate will have experience designing fintech or financial services products, particularly for emerging markets. The role will be based at our Cairo or Abu Dhabi offices, and we are open to considering a remote/hybrid role for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities:- Lead the end-to-end design process, from concept to execution, ensuring the delivery of high-quality user experiences
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and customer interviews to gain insights into user needs and behaviors
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs that enhance user engagement and usability
- Work closely with the Head of Product, product managers, and engineers to align design decisions with business goals and technical constraints
- Develop and maintain a scalable design system and UI component library to ensure consistency across all products
- Advocate for user-centered design and accessibility best practices throughout the product development lifecycle
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, data, and usability testing insights
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in product design and UX/UI
- 5+ years of experience in UX/UI or product design, preferably in fintech, insurtech, or financial services
- Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work, including research, wireframing, prototyping, and final UI designs
- Experience with designing products for emerging markets and understanding the unique user challenges in these regions
- Expertise in Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD, along with proficiency in motion design tools (nice to have)
- Strong understanding of human-centered design, usability principles, and accessibility best practices
- Ability to work in an agile environment, balancing speed and quality while iterating on design solutions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design decisions to stakeholders
- Knowledge of Arabic is beneficial but not required
