About the Role: RSGx Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our growing team. This is an exciting remote opportunity from Malaysia to support a project in the Pilbara, Western Australia. The successful candidate will play an essential role in supporting the project management team, overseeing document control activities, and ensuring compliant and accurate document management functions. The candidate shall be hired as full-time employee under RSGx Malaysia Sdn Bhd and shall be office-based in KL Eco City, with working days from Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and maintain project documentation, ensuring compliance with internal systems.
- Working with Project Managers to improve the document control processes, procedures, and systems for projects.
- Liaising with relevant RSGx sections and ensuring alignment with existing RSGx policies and procedures.
- Developing and maintaining a suitable formal regime for document control that is easily understood and used by those working within the division.
- Supporting and working with colleagues to ensure that the document control systems are being used effectively to achieve the aims of good, professional document control.
- Developing and maintaining the relevant document libraries required.
- Updating and educating the relevant parties on the procedures and processes that have been developed.
- Ensuring there is a tracking system in place to monitor and manage the document development progress within the project and support tendering team when workload permits.
- Ensuring that drawings and any other related technical documentation are properly managed and controlled between the project, design, subcontractors, and site teams.
- At least 3 years of experience in Document Control, ideally within the Mining, Infrastructure / Utilities, Oil & Gas, Construction, or relevant industries.
- Experienced in the use of Procore, PIMS and SharePoint (Preferable).
- Strong knowledge of document control processes and document management systems.
- Advanced skills in relevant Microsoft Office software applications.
- Confident in resolving problems - both technical and organisational implementation matters.
- A high level of attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, systems, and project requirements.
- Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams to resolve issues and keep projects moving forward.
