Social Media & Community Manager Location: Aurora, Ontario (In-Person, Full-Time) About Socials & Stilettos Socials & Stilettos is a boutique social media, marketing, and PR agency specializing in helping beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands build iconic digital presences. As we expand, we’re seeking a full-circle Social Media & Community Manager to join our team in-office, five days a week. This is not a remote or hybrid position . About the Role This role is for someone who truly **lives and breathes social media**. You should be capable of managing entire social media accounts from start to finish including strategy, content creation, scheduling, engagement, and analytics. We need someone who is highly skilled, creative, and detail-oriented, with a strong grasp of both short-form (Reels, TikTok) and long-form (YouTube) video editing, graphic design, and copywriting. If you’re looking for a role where you only handle one part of the process—this isn’t for you. We’re looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and isn’t afraid to take full ownership of projects. This role requires someone who can conceptualize, plan, and execute social strategies while engaging with online communities in a meaningful way. Key Responsibilities Content Creation & Management:
- Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive content strategies across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and more.
- Write compelling copy for captions, blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials.
- Create graphics using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and Adobe Express.
- Edit short-form and long-form videos (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, etc.).
- Script and storyboard video content.
- Manage and schedule posts via Later.
- Actively engage with audiences, respond to comments, DMs, and build relationships.
- Strategically grow and nurture brand communities.
- Actively search for partnership and collaboration opportunities.
- Analyze social media performance and provide actionable insights.
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform changes, and best practices.
- Work closely with our team on creative projects, client campaigns, and content shoots.
- Plan and execute content days and brand shoots (travel may be required; a valid passport is required) .
- Proven experience in full-service social media management (not just one aspect).
- Strong copywriting skills with a natural, engaging tone.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Later, Canva, and Adobe Express.
- Experience editing both short-form and long-form videos.
- A deep understanding of social media algorithms, trends, and engagement strategies.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Must have a reliable laptop to perform work tasks (other tools are provided).
- Comfortable working in a team environment and taking initiative.
- Must be fully fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Full-time availability (Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM, in-office).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (this is a non-negotiable requirement).
- Starting hourly rate: $18.50 - $20 CAD/hr, depending on experience.
