For the various software development projects and environments in automotive, we are looking for Embedded Software Developer. Join our international team of enthusiastic, experienced and Agile Software Developers to develop a virtualized ECU solution utilized for software development, integration, testing & validation of Autonomous Driving functions through the overall CI/CD toolchain utilized in the development of entire functional areas of cars and used in future vehicles of a famous German automotive manufacturer worldwide. Help out in the creation of features that will be used daily by millions of drivers once the next generation of vehicles hit the roads in 2025 and later.

Responsibilities
Embedded SW Integration for functional, regression and scenario-based testing

VECU software development and integration for Simics and QEMU environment (Virtualization and Emulation)

Orchestration of virtual ECU components using container and VM technology

Doing low (binary) level debugging

SW build and configuration including CI/CD pipeline configuration

Contribute to software architecture design, development of software applications and integration into enterprise systems

Interact with teams of engineers from multiple disciplines

Develop and verify software based on the requirements

Perform demos for business stakeholders and ensure software meets their requirements

Skills
Must have

Academic degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or similar qualification.

Good experience in C embedded and Python.

Experience with debugging low level (binary) code.

Knowledge/experience on Computer Networks.

Software development experience in international large-scale projects, better if in the automotive domain.

Experience in Linux-based OS.

Able to communicate and present internally and externally in a confident manner.

Possesses an understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies in the customer's analytic environments.

Nice to have

Knowledge about general virtualization

Experience in using C++ 11/14/17, as well as an understanding of object oriented programming and design

Experience with QEMU, QNX, multi-threading and other OS concepts

Experience with SW build and configuration background (CMAKE/Bazel)

Experience with Batch and Shell scripting

Experience of bus systems CAN, LIN, SomeIP, FlexRay

Experience in the automotive industry
