Pharmacy Assistant – Bowser Position: Pharmacy Assistant Site: Bowser Pharmacy Location: 112 – 6996 Island Hwy W, Bowser BC Job Type: Regular, Full Time Pay: $17.40-$24 Hourly Pharmacy Hours Mon–Fri: 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Saturday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Closed Sundays Mint Health + Drugs is a fast-growing, pharmacist-owned company with 18 locations in Western Canada, dedicated to exceptional care and service beyond a typical drug store. Benefits • Employee Discounts • Company events • Health and Dental Benefits • Life Insurance, Long Term Disability, AD&D • Health Spending Account • Education Allowance • Paid Vacation and Personal Days • RRSP matching • No evening shifts Key Responsibilities • Assist to prepare and dispense drugs • Assess new and repeat prescriptions • Support pharmacists in patient counseling and education • Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements • Document and maintain accurate records • Promote healthy living and immunization programs • Handle administrative tasks such as answering phones and managing paperwork • Communicate with customers and other healthcare professionals • Provide customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and processing transactions Education & Qualifications • High school diploma, GED or equivalent • Pharmacy Assistant certificate is considered an asset Experience & Skills • Strong attention to detail • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities • Clear communication and interpersonal abilities • Proven experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a related role • Knowledge of pharmacy operations and medications is an asset • Experience with Kroll software is an asset • Ability to adhere to regulatory compliance • Experience in pharmacy management and leadership is an asset We are excited to grow our team and look forward to welcoming dedicated professionals who share our vision and commitment to excellence.
