We are seeking a skilled Area Trainer for the Klang Valley and Area Trainer for Southern Region. Job Summary:

  • The Area Trainer will oversee and deliver training programs to ensure that all Mynews outlet staff in Selangor meet performance standards, comply with operational procedures, and deliver excellent customer service.
Travel Requirement:
  • The Area Trainer will involve frequent visits to various outlets within the assigned area.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Responsible to assist Training Executive for development and updates of Training Program Materials and documents for both store operations and non-operations related.
  • Liaise with Training Executive to ensure information and activities are consistently communicated and updated.
  • Conduct basic/refresher/new outlet opening training and other staff performance improvement tasks assigned regularly.
  • Conduct follow-ups and On-the-job evaluation for new staff to certify the staff.
  • Monitor and manage their base Training Centre and Training Store (if available) to ensure that both venues are well maintained and in good and ready condition.
  • Assist in any additional activities within COE department function assigned by superiors on timely execution to achieve company and departmental goals and target, and ensure all activities are recorded and documented.
  • Drive internal and external communications with relevant parties to ensure smooth execution of the activities.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in any field. Preferably degree in Education, Retailing, Management.
  • Willing to travel within Klang Valley and outstation.
  • Experience in Operations Training or Soft Skills Training.
  • Experience in outlet operations management (retail / F&B).
