About the role: In your role as a QC artist, you will be working closely with our creative team to develop exciting and serialized comics in a variety of genres while ensuring the integrity of the final product. This role involves reviewing comic art to identify issues related to artistic style, continuity, creative quality, and overall visual appeal. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of content creation and a passion for fiction storytelling. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure that comic panels meet artistic and technical standards of webcomic production by reviewing artwork for consistency, continuity, and quality.
2. Check character design, perspective, accuracy, and lettering placement to ensure clarity and visual appeal
3. Collaborate with the creative team to resolve issues and ensure final pages align with the project’s style and timeline
4. Ensure that all QC tasks are completed within the designated production timelines.

1. Previous experience in a similar role (illustration, post production) is preferred
2. Strong knowledge of illustration including pencils, inks, coloring, and lettering
3. Excellent eye for detail and a deep understanding of visual storytelling principles
4. Ability to identify and resolve artistic issues related to composition, character consistency, perspective, anatomy, and other technical aspects of comic art
5. Familiarity with common comic book formats and tools used in digital comics
6. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
