ABOUT IMAIPL: Institute of Management Accountants India Private Limited (IMAIPL) is a general marketing, promotional and support service entity. It has an exclusive contract with the Institute of Management Accountants in the U.S. (IMA) to provide services that include identifying opportunities relevant to the IMA mission, promoting the management accounting profession, creating awareness of IMA's certification programs, carrying out liaising activities and providing limited auxiliary services to IMA members and chapters in India. These auxiliary services include organizing conferences, workshops, exhibitions and other networking events and extending opportunities for continuing professional development. POSITION SUMMARY: IMA is a leading global association dedicated to advancing the management accounting profession. It provides research, education, and certification through the CMA® program, alongside advocacy for ethical business practices. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Member Support:

  • Assist with day-to-day member inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to enhance member satisfaction and engagement.
  • Serve as a point of contact for member support issues, facilitating timely and effective resolutions.
Chapter Activity Support:
  • Coordinate and support the planning and execution of chapter events and activities, ensuring
alignment with IMA’s mission and goals.
  • Work closely with chapter leadership to enhance communication and streamline operations.
Liaison Activities:
  • Establish and maintain effective communication channels between IMA members, chapter
bodies, and IMAIPL.
  • Facilitate regular updates and information sharing to ensure smooth functioning of chapter
activities. Event Coordination:
  • Assist in the organization and promotion of conferences, workshops, and networking events.
  • Support logistical arrangements for chapter meetings, ensuring all resources and materials are
available as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate qualifications are advantageous. • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, ideally within a membership-based organization. • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with close attention to detail. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively. • Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software tools. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving. • Willingness to travel occasionally for chapter meetings and events.
