We are seeking a talented individual to join our Risk Consulting team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mumbai. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Senior Manager - Risk Consulting We will count on you to:
- Establish a repeatable process for integrating and loading source data catalogs into the central data catalog.
- · Identify the metadata required from various sources to create repositories and data warehouses.
- · Collaborate with regional teams to collect, analyze, and store data according to business requirements.
- · Develop digital strategies to create tools and processes for maintaining meaningful data and presenting insights.
- · Utilize data to support teams in conducting research, creating tailored insights, and developing commercial documents using internal data repositories.
- · Maintain governance over various data types across teams, including credentials, team structures, CVs, wins, sanitized documents for clients, and project data that can be utilized across different sources.
- · Engage in key activities such as data governance, digital strategy development support, pre-sales content development, team governance activities, and advanced product development.
- · Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), or an equivalent post-graduate certification in Business Administration from a reputable institute.
- · 6 to 8 years of experience in data management (both quantitative and qualitative, including secondary and primary data) at a leading professional services or consulting firm, such as a Big 4, public policy organizations, financial service captives, or leading market intelligence and research firms.
- · Experience in data management, including building repositories and tools for metadata storage.
- · Exposure to delivering consulting assignments, building frameworks, deriving data-driven insights, and performing statistical analysis aligned with the ‘Sales Strategy,’ focusing on client pitching activities.
- · Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, storyboarding, and report writing skills.
- · Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and listening.
- · Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including Macros and VBA), Access, and SharePoint.
- · Extensive experience with commercial tools in areas such as decision support tools, Master Data Management, and Data Warehouse tools.
- · Experience in developing, maintaining, and managing Excel/Power BI-driven dashboards.
- · Ability to support teams in creating pitch decks and assisting with the RFP process.
- · Strong academic rigour
- · Familiarity with core statistical concepts e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values, etc.
- · Knowhow of programming languages like Python or R and visualisation tools like Power BI will be a plus
- · Ability to take initiatives to strive for improvement in analytical techniques, processes and outputs
- · Strong exposure of presenting to senior executive management
- · Understating of insurance and risk management
