Purpose of the Job The purpose of this role is to execute fixed scope on projects and further develop engineering skills. This will involve implementing defined parts of standard engineering solutions under the close supervision of other project engineers and assisting in the development of new or non-standard solutions. The work is in the Oil & Gas industry. Principal Responsibilities
- Study of project design inputs such as P&IDs, User Requirement Specification (URS), Control Narratives, Logic diagrams, Instrument Schedule, Cable Schedule, System Architecture, and IO/Tag Database.
- Perform hardware visual inspection and loop check.
- Installation and Configuration of servers, switches, and stations.
- Establishing communications between systems.
- Proactively looks to build cross-discipline experience and increase knowledge through working with other engineers.
- Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to the project lead engineer or supervising engineer.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering Process Instrumentation & Control, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science.
