Your role will involve promoting best practices and raising awareness of MAS laws and regulations across the Bank. You will conduct end-to-end customer due diligence, investigate suspicious transactions, and provide advice on AML-related issues. Your new role As the AML Governance Officer, you will assist the Compliance Manager in implementing and managing the bank's Compliance and AML programs. Your role will involve promoting best practices and raising awareness of MAS laws and regulations across the Bank. You will conduct end-to-end customer due diligence, investigate suspicious transactions, and provide advice on AML-related issues. Additionally, you will perform gap analyses on AML policies, carry out compliance training, and assist in preparing materials for Board Meetings and other key events. Your responsibilities will also include coordinating AML-related examinations and audits, keeping abreast of regulatory updates, and ensuring accurate and transparent reporting. What you'll need to succeed To ensure your success in this highly visible role, you will have: A bachelor's degree from a recognised institution. Minimum 4 years of relevant AML Compliance experience in the Banking & Financial Services industry. Certifications in AML such as Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) will be an added advantage. Agility to work in a fast-paced and flat hierarchical work environment.
