Waldorf Astoria - West Bay Doha A Driver provides a transportation service to Guests and visitors as requested, where safety, cleanliness, and superior customer service are always priorities. What will I be doing? The Driver for Outside Catering is responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of food, beverages, and catering equipment to various event locations across Doha, Qatar . Key Responsibilities:

• Interact professionally with clients and event staff , representing the company positively.
• Communicate effectively with the catering team to coordinate deliveries and setup .
• Handle last-minute changes or requests with flexibility and professionalism.
• Assist catering staff with loading and unloading food, beverages, and equipment .
• Ensure all items are properly secured and transported safely.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with Qatar’s traffic laws and safety regulations .
• Ensure the timely and secure delivery of catering orders to various locations.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain cleanliness and regular servicing of the vehicle .
• Report any mechanical issues or necessary repairs to the relevant department.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents .
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations while transporting perishable items.

What Are We Looking For?

Drivers supporting our Outside Catering team in Doha, Qatar , play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service. To excel in this position, you should demonstrate the following attitude, skills, and values :

• Based in Doha, Qatar.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a driver, preferably in catering, hospitality, or logistics .
• Valid Qatar Truck Driving License (Heavy or Medium, as required).
• Professional appearance with strong communication skills.
• Calm, courteous, and discreet in all interactions.
• Clean driving record with knowledge of traffic regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple deliveries efficiently.
• Familiarity with Doha’s routes and traffic patterns.
• Experience in handling perishable food items and catering equipment.
