Job Summary:
This Project Risk Manager role is responsible for managing the project risk management program on project. Responsible for guidance, support, and SME technical expertise in project risk management for the project across an audience of internal and external stakeholders. Managing and maintaining resilient customer facing relationships and strategically maintaining trust of project leadership, the role requires an influential, confident people person with the ability to drive focus on PRM, lead through encouragement and connect PRM with key interfaces across the project scope.Major Responsibilities:
- Manage/Lead the project risk management program across the project.
- Drive focus on actively managing risks.
- Mentor, train and advise project leaders in risk awareness.
- Deliver training in project risk management.
- Facilitate context focused Workshops.
- Deliver to the Project Execution Plan.
- Report to key internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the project risk management program at project leadership meetings.
- Consult with Bechtel and customer leaders in all aspects of the project risk management program.
- Ability to work with limited supervision to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously under pressure.
- The role requires a strategic quick thinker with abilities to deliver messaging across all layers of the project team.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and -15 years of relevant work experience.Required Knowledge and Skills:
- More than 15 years’ experience in PMO with on project time (EPCM, PCM, DP, IDP, EPC).
- More than 15 years’ experience in project risk management.
- Demonstrated experience in Qualitative Risk.
- Good understanding of Quantitative Risk Management (QSRA QCRA).
- Experience in the Infrastructure / Heavy Civil / Aviation / Rail/ Tunnelling/ Renewables / Mining / Construction is mandatory.
- Experience facilitating risk workshops, risk reviews/ sessions.
- Knowledge of ISO:31000.
- Relevant recognized Diploma, Degree, or Professional Certification.
- Experience with Enablon and ARM.
- Experience working in Middle East / KSA.
- Bilingual English / Arabic advantageous.
- Experience working rotational rosters (FIFO).
