Job Title: ELV Technician (Access Control Systems) Location: Lusail Job Type: Full-Time (3-month contract with the possibility of extension) Package: QAR 3500 (Full Package) Working Hours: 6 days/week, 10 hours/day Job Description: We are seeking a skilled ELV Technician with expertise in Access Control Systems to join our team in Lusail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in the installation, termination, and maintenance of ELV systems, particularly in access control devices. This is a full-time position with an initial 3-month contract, with the potential for extension based on performance and project requirements. Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation & Termination: Install and terminate access control devices and systems, including door controllers, card readers, biometric systems, and related hardware. Ensure proper wiring, termination, and testing of low-voltage systems (ELV).
  • System Integration & Configuration: Assist in the configuration, troubleshooting, and commissioning of access control systems and related ELV systems. Ensure all equipment is integrated and functioning as required.
  • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform regular maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure the access control systems are operational and meet project standards. Identify and resolve faults and malfunctions in systems and devices in a timely manner.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of installations, terminations, and troubleshooting. Provide regular updates and reports on project status and any issues encountered.
  • Safety & Compliance: Follow company and site safety protocols at all times. Ensure that all systems are installed in compliance with local regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an ELV Technician, with a focus on access control system installation, termination, and troubleshooting.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of access control systems (card readers, biometric systems, door controllers, etc.). Proficient in working with low-voltage wiring and devices. Familiarity with ELV standards, wiring codes, and system integration.
  • Certifications: Relevant technical certifications or training related to ELV systems and access control systems are highly preferred.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site in Lusail and perform tasks in a variety of environments. Comfortable working long hours and in physically demanding conditions when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Must be locally available in Qatar.
  • Valid NOC/transferable visa.
