JOB SUMMARY Lead the Haematology pathology department as a consultant, overseeing diagnostic testing, playing a pivotal role in providing expert guidance on complex cases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic care to the patients, and driving research to advance the field of pathology at our esteemed hospital. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Provides high-quality haematology pathology care to patients in this area of medicine.
  2. Provide consultative service as requested.
  3. Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
  4. Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and participates in research activities.
  5. Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
  6. Performs special procedures as privileged.
  7. Follows all hospital-related policies and procedures.
  8. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education
  1. Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
  2. Completion of required period of training in haematology pathology.
  3. Arab, Jordanian Board certification in the relevant medical haematology pathology is typically required or equivalent.
  4. Membership and/or Fellowship or their equivalent and fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
  5. A certificate recognized by the Saudi commission is a must.
  6. Dataflow is a must.
Professional Experience
  1. Min. 5 years Post Board/Fellowship in haematology pathology.
  2. A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language
  1. Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
