JOB INFORMATION Job Title: Emergency Medicine Consultant SHORT DESCRIPTION An excellent opportunity to join as an Emergency Medicine Consultant for one of the most prestigious and top-tier leading hospitals in Taif, Saudi Arabia. JOB SUMMARY We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Emergency Medicine Consultant to join one of the esteemed healthcare teams. As a key leader in the Emergency Department, you will be responsible for providing immediate and specialized care to patients in critical conditions. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating rapid assessments, implementing life-saving interventions, and ensuring efficient patient flow within the emergency setting. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients in this area of medicine.
- Provide consultative service as requested.
- Supervise fellows, staff/assistant physicians, and residents.
- Actively participate in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in your area of expertise and participate in research activities.
- Participate in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
- Perform special procedures as privileged.
- Follow all hospital-related policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Graduate from a medical school of good standing.
- Completion of required training in Emergency Medicine and/or subspecialty.
- Saudi Arabian or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership and/or Fellowship status in America and/or Europe or their equivalent, fulfilling the criteria for the consultant as required.
- A certificate recognized by the Saudi Commission is a must.
- Dataflow is a must.
- Minimum 3-4 years post Board/Fellowship in specialty.
- A registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
- Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic may be beneficial.
- Positive professional references attesting to the candidate's skills and ethical conduct.
