QUALIFICATIONS:Holds a certificate/diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has a minimum of 10 years of experience in oil/gas onshore and offshore facilities.Should have at least 7 years of working experience in a 3D environment using PDMS or SP3D software.Must have working knowledge of E3D and SP3D software.Other software like AutoCAD, Microstation, etc. is required.Experience in field engineering activities will be an added advantage.B. RESPONSIBILITIES / PROFILE:Reports operationally to the Area Lead and functionally to Design Unit Head with the following responsibilities:Develop Plot Plans and Equipment layouts.Perform Piping Routing Studies, especially compressors, pumps, air-cooled exchangers, etc.Pro-active, co-operating, and dutiful.Performs piping modelling using SP3D / E3D and pipe supports modelling using SP3D & MDS based on piping studies.Routes minor lines and incorporates modifications and changes.Produces piping related drawings including details, isometrics, etc.Extract isometrics and piping GA drawings from the 3D model.Coordinates with other designers/engineers.Reports the progress of his works.Checks/comments on Vendor drawings.Job SpecificationJoulan Goveas (Recruiter) is in search of talented and motivated individuals for the post of Senior Piping Designer in the field of Design in one of their offices located in Abu Dhabi - United Arab Emirates. The ideal candidate should have BTECH/ B.E qualification and at least 4 years of experience. This is a Full-Time morning shift job.
