Sr Quantitative Analyst – International Bank This is a French international banking group and the world's largest cooperative financial institution. They have near-shored from their New York office and moved their operations to Montreal which is exciting news! They have a nice brand new office downtown. This a chance to join a very stable environment as these roles already existed in New York before the move. We are currently looking for an Quantitative Analyst. That said, they are seeking candidates from Financial mathematics, Financial Engineering or something similar + strong experience in Interest Rates Derivatives pricing models. Skilled in mathematics, and proficient in programming C/C++ and/or Python or other prog languages. Title : Sr Quantitative Analyst Location : Montreal Work model: Hybrid, 2-3 days remote work allowed Type of position : Full time and permanent Salary: 150k + 25%. 4 weeks vacation. They offer a great benefits package. RRSP matching, you contribute 2% and they contribute 8%. What you will do:
- Responsible for the validation of pricing model used by product Lines
- Implementation of alternative pricing model
- 3-5+ years of experience with option pricing theory (quantitative models for pricing and hedging derivatives)
- Programming with C++ and Python (up to 25% of their time)
- Strong understanding of pricing model validation. (being able to analyse the model proposed by trading to price some derivative products (eg. interest rate products or cross assets- equities, FX etc.)
- Knowledge of financial mathematics
- Produce code in C++ and Python
- Interest in quantitative aspect of financial products.
- Ability for wok in a team.
- Motivated by work, join the team.
- French is an asset
- Team is mainly based in Paris.
- 13 people in Paris. Partly in London (5 people) -Total 18
- Teams are organized by business lines- like equity derivative, interest rate derivative, FX, XVA (Additional valuation feature like credit addition valuation), algorithmic trading etc.
- Building up the team in Canada.
