Join a leading tax team Client facing role Genuine progression path The Firm & The Role Our client is a long-established commercial law firm with an outstanding reputation in the tax space. The team is headed up by a well-known tax partner who acts for high net worth individuals, SMEs, ASX-listed companies, global entities, property developers, real estate, and construction companies. Due to new clients and new instructions, our client is looking to appoint an experienced tax lawyer with at least 3 years post-admission experience. This role will involve high levels of client and matter responsibility, providing the opportunity to foster strong client relationships. Working closely with the partner, your role will be varied and challenging. You will work on corporate transactions, tax due diligence, provide tax advice on ATO rulings, manage tax audits, and offer advice on stamp duty, GST, restructurings, and wealth and succession planning. About You The ideal candidate will have: At least 3 years PAE experience in tax law; tax lawyers/tax consultants from the Big 4 accounting firms will be looked upon favorably Excellent tax and commercial skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills First-rate advising and drafting skills Excellent problem-solving skills Highly developed organizational skills Ability to work independently, but within a team-focused environment Enthusiasm for practicing law that is results-driven Culture & Benefits On offer is a generous salary package.
