(thintanks North) is seeking a qualified Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) to join the team. thintanks North America Inc. manufactures, sells and distributes a collection of water storage products that challenge the status quo in terms of functionality, space efficiency and aesthetics. Designed for easy installation & space-saving, thintanks are the thinnest available water tank for any capacity. Both commercial and residential applications are in the following areas; • Water Conservation - Rainwater harvesting, gray water recycling • Storm Water Management - Urban flooding mitigation, Low Impact Development (LID)• Wildfire Protection - On-site water storage with smart automated sprinkler systems • Landscaping Projects - Accent walls, vertical gardens, fences and more • Potable water storage Compared to the cumbersome and large round barrel design of traditional options, thintanks are ideal for space restricted applications. Also the thintanks Smart Rainwater System offers vertical garden thinpots, pre-fab fence options and pump kits. As a growing company, thintanks North is eager to scale operations by; • Leveraging the strength, brand recognition, and expertise of established dealers and installers • Growing annual sales volume • Strategic partnering with innovative home developers and eco system partners • Upsell accessories and bundles to increase profit Your impact as a CEO Job Responsibilities: • Develop, evaluate and maintain existing business unit strategies, including scoping and structuring, formulating hypotheses, conducting research, performing analysis, developing actionable recommendations, and creating implementation plans. • Build and manage plans to support thintanks North corporate objectives, and communicate this to investors. Nurture existing and new investor relationships to secure additional financing, in-turn scaling operations. • Grow, mentor and/or train thintanks North team as necessary to support reaching goals and objectives. • Identify and evaluate logical extensions of the company’s current core competencies by assessing market, technology, and macroeconomic trends. Of particular interest are the increasing trends of mitigating wildfires and local flooding caused by stormwater. • Act as a catalyst by managing initiatives to increase thintanks North brand awareness and recognition amongst Canadian and USA markets. • Conduct ongoing assessments of industry and competitive landscape, identify key industry trends impacting the business, and characterize associated opportunities for growth • Identify leading trends & opportunities and drive greater efficiency, effectiveness, & capability in collaboration with functional leaders. Coordinate with thintanks North team to increase effort on initiatives currently underway - partnership/collaboration discussions, strategic volume sale opportunities. • Support development of executive-level communications at all levels of the company, including Board of Directors. • Support corporate development during critical deal phases, which may present opportunity at any given moment, include merger or acquisition, pipeline development, strategic due diligence, transaction management, and post-merger integration. Your Knowledge and Expertise • Minimum of 10 years of experience, with three or more years in top-tier consulting or corporate strategy at notable corporations. Immediate industry experience not a must. • Experience leading project teams of cross functional leaders as well as managing and developing a team focused on business scaling/growth. • Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field, such as engineering, economics, finance or business; MBA strongly preferred. • Skilled at influencing and communicating with a diverse set of functions and audiences. • Experience in consumer product industry sales, logistics, product manufacturing is an asset. • Ability to create complex financial models to simulate a variety of scenarios. • Relentless focus on driving tangible impact to the corporation. • Proven negotiation and relationship building skills.
