About Us:  We're pioneering next-generation dashcam systems through advanced computer vision and sensor fusion technologies. Our mission is to revolutionize vehicle safety through innovative AI-driven solutions that process multi-modal sensor data in real-time.   Role Overview:  We're seeking a Computer Vision Scientist with a PhD to drive research and development in multi-sensor fusion algorithms, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in-vehicle monitoring and safety systems.   Key Responsibilities: - Lead research initiatives in advanced computer vision and sensor fusion - Architect novel algorithms for multi-modal event detection and scene understanding - Develop sophisticated sensor fusion frameworks combining visual and inertial data - Design and implement real-time optimization techniques for embedded systems - Lead technical direction for ML model development and deployment - Author technical papers and patents - Guide junior researchers and engineers - Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system architecture   Required Qualifications: - PhD in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, or a related field - Strong publication record in top-tier conferences (CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS) - Deep expertise in computer vision and deep learning - Advanced knowledge of sensor fusion algorithms and Kalman filtering - Extensive experience with real-time systems optimization - Strong programming skills in Python and C++ - Experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow at scale -Experience with SLAM   Technical Expertise: - Computer Vision: Object detection, tracking, segmentation - Deep Learning: CNN architectures, transformer models ,SLAM - Sensor Fusion: Multi-modal integration, state estimation - Signal Processing: IMU data analysis, filtering techniques - Systems: Real-time optimization, embedded deployment - Tools: CUDA, OpenCV, NumPy, PyTorch   Preferred Qualifications: - Postdoctoral research experience - Industry experience in automotive or robotics - Experience with TensorRT or model optimization - Knowledge of SLAM or visual-inertial odometry - Track record of successful patent applications - Experience mentoring technical teams - Background in automotive safety systems   Research Areas: - Multi-modal sensor fusion - Real-time computer vision - Event detection and classification - Embedded AI optimization - Visual-inertial algorithms - Deep learning for vehicle safety   What We Offer: - Competitive salary - Research budget and conference attendance - Publication and patent opportunities - State-of-the-art computing resources - Flexible work environment - Comprehensive benefits - Professional development support   Impact You'll Have: - Drive innovation in vehicle safety technology - Lead novel research initiatives - Shape technical strategy and direction - Build intellectual property portfolio - Mentor and grow technical talent   The ideal candidate will combine strong theoretical foundations with practical implementation skills, bringing both academic rigor and industrial applicability to our research initiatives.   To apply, please send your:  - CV with publications list - Research statement - Links to significant projects/implementations - References from academic/industry leaders  Email: Harshwardhan.Dewangan@omnidya.com
