Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Design Lead (UI/UX) to lead our design efforts across various web and mobile platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and the ability to create compelling, seamless, and high-quality user experiences. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to turn complex requirements into user-friendly designs for large-scale digital transformations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and Guide Design Efforts : Own the end-to-end UI/UX design process for complex projects such as corporate websites, stock and mutual fund trading applications, health applications, and other high-caliber platforms.
- User Research and Analysis : Conduct user research, gather and analyze feedback, and translate insights into design decisions that improve the user experience.
- Conceptualization and Design : Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with the business goals while providing an intuitive user experience.
- Collaboration and Communication : Work collaboratively with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure designs are implemented as intended and meet user needs.
- Design System Management : Develop and maintain a consistent design language and component library across all digital products to ensure a cohesive user experience.
- Usability Testing and Iteration : Conduct usability tests and apply feedback to refine and improve design solutions.
- Team Leadership : Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and creative design environment.
- Stay Updated with Trends : Keep up with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies to ensure our products remain cutting-edge.
- Experience : 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within fintech, health tech, or similar industries.
- Design Proficiency : Strong expertise in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar, with a solid portfolio showcasing your work on web and mobile platforms.
- User-Centric Approach : Proven ability to conduct user research and translate findings into design improvements.
- Complex Problem Solving : Experience in designing robust and comprehensive interfaces for large-scale and data-driven applications.
- Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with front-end development principles and the ability to work closely with development teams to bridge the gap between design and technology.
- Leadership Skills : Ability to mentor and lead a design team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive design decisions that align with the company’s vision.
