Job Description Project Description:

  • Our client is a UK subsidiary of a global financial house working in multiple markets and asset classes.
  • We are currently expanding our international team responsible for development and support of several back office applications (regulatory reporting, settlements, reconciliation) with a new senior developer role focused on a new functionality development. We are looking for an experienced ETL/Java developer. Successful candidate will join a mixed Luxoft/client team.
  • Technologies used: MS SQL, Java 8/J2EE, Spring, Apache Camel, bespoke mapping language, shell scripting, Control-M
  • Opportunities: Rapidly growing account with opportunities for working directly with business users, expanding technical and capital markets knowledge, and developing consultancy / soft skills. Working along with highly professional and experienced developers gives opportunity for farther development of Java and DB skills, capital markets knowledge.
  • Currently, the project operates in fully remote/WFH mode. Working hours should be close to UK working hours but can allow some flexibility.
Responsibilities:
  • Communicating with client on requirement
  • Programming in MS SQL, ETL (SSIS etc.) , Java, shell scripts
  • Writing unit and functional tests
  • Providing L3 support
Mandatory Skills Description:
  • At least 3 years of ETL experience (MS SQL preferable)
  • 4+ years of MS SQL experience
  • 1+ year in Java 8/J2EE
  • Experience with Spring
  • Experience with financial domain (regulatory reporting preferable)
  • Strong communication skills
Nice-to-Have Skills Description:
  • Message Automation experience
  • Apache Camel experience
  • Control-M experience
