Interior Design Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Title : Interior Design Quality Assurance Specialist Job Description: Graniti Vicentia is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Interior Design Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on reviewing shop drawings for custom interior design elements, such as cabinets, countertops, reception desks, and kitchen millwork, to ensure quality, precision, and alignment with project specifications. The position requires collaboration with global design teams in India, USA, and Italy, as well as coordination with manufacturers and suppliers across China, Vietnam, Italy, Cambodia, and the USA. Responsibilities: · Conduct thorough reviews of shop drawings for luxury hotel interiors, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design intent and brand standards. · Identify inconsistencies or potential issues and provide feedback for necessary adjustments. · Coordinate with interior design teams in India, the USA, and Italy to align project objectives and ensure seamless communication across time zones. · Maintain strong relationships with premium hospitality brands and adhere to their stringent quality and aesthetic requirements. · Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers in China, Vietnam, Italy, Cambodia, and the USA to confirm material specifications, production feasibility, and delivery schedules. · Address technical questions and resolve any design or production challenges promptly. · Establish and enforce quality control processes to ensure all interior elements meet or exceed luxury hospitality standards. · Conduct inspections and periodic audits to maintain consistency and high standards in production and design. · Maintain comprehensive records of shop drawing reviews, revisions, and communications with design teams and manufacturers. · Prepare detailed quality assurance reports for internal teams and clients, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. · 2+ years of experience in shop drawing review, quality assurance, or similar roles, ideally within the luxury hospitality or millwork industries. · Strong knowledge of interior design, custom millwork, and manufacturing processes. · Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools. · Excellent communication and coordination skills for working with global teams and high-profile clients. · Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. · Familiarity with international hospitality design standards and procurement processes.
