The Position: This is a full time, fixed term position for a minimum period of 6 months. We are offering a skilled Help Desk/Network Administrator the opportunity to apply their experience while further developing their expertise. You will help support the key business operations based in Palmerston North. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for IT and customer service. Your excellent communication and relationship skills will ensure you foster a positive team atmosphere and quickly establish effective working relationships across the organisation. Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting our staff via phone, email, and our support portal.
- Procurement, setup, maintain and support software and hardware.
- On-site support to remote sites.
- VoIP network, and data network and hardware support.
- Maintaining system integrity and security.
- Improving system performance.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Azure and Windows and Android operating systems.
- Basic Network and network device knowledge.
- Customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable.
