About the Role As a Security Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors within healthcare facilities. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment, managing access control, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a part-time position. We currently have a number of FT, PPT and Casual positions available for successful candidates. Key Responsibilities Monitor and patrol hospital premises to ensure safety and security. Respond promptly to emergencies and incidents in accordance with established protocols. Manage access to restricted areas and ensure compliance with visitor policies. Provide assistance and guidance to patients, staff, and visitors. Conduct routine security checks and prepare detailed incident reports. Collaborate with healthcare staff to address security concerns and support their operations. About You We are looking for individuals who are professional, reliable, and compassionate, with a strong commitment to safety and security. Key Requirements: Current Victorian Security License First Aid and CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle sensitive situations with discretion. Previous experience in healthcare security or a similar role is an advantage but not essential.
