Therapy Villa is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent  Clinical Psychologist or Psychological Associate to join our team on a contract basis. About Us: Therapy Villa Psychology Services is a growing and well-respected practice dedicated to delivering exceptional mental health care. We place special emphasis on trauma and interpersonal relationships with a focus on holistic well-being, tailoring treatment plans to each client's unique needs. We foster a warm, supportive environment for clients and staff alike, emphasizing professional development and collaborative care. Our integrative approach includes a variety of evidence-based modalities, such as trauma-informed care, EMDR, IFS, Somatic therapies, attachment-based therapy, CBT, DBT, MBT, and EFT. Position Overview We are looking for a Psychologist or Psychological Associate with:

  • Competency: Adults and Couples (adolescents and families are an asset)
  • Location: Hybrid (in-person sessions in Etobicoke and virtual appointments)
  • Hours: Minimum 10 hours a week and grow to a full caseload
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy for adults and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Option to work with adolescents and families (if desired)
  • Supervise practicum students and therapists pursuing supervision hours
Qualifications
  • Registered with the College of Psychologists and Behavior Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) as a Psychologist or Psychological Associate (Autonomous Practice & Supervised Practice Candidates)
  • Experience with Psychological Assessments (Psychodiagnostic, MVA, Immigration, etc.)
  • Experience with trauma-informed practice and other relevant modalities
  • Competency in working with diverse populations
  • Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong case management and administrative skills (e.g., timely reports)
  • Bonus: Experience with adolescents and children
