( Profile: Our client is a diversified global air, ocean, intermodal and OTR transportation company known for its quality service, customer satisfaction, experience and “know how’ attitude. They are continuously growing and looking to add an Account Sales Executive to their team. We are looking for an account executive who has experience in transportation (3pl) and come with a book of business. Territory: North America (some Intl) Work Place: Remote but must be local to the greater Montreal area Products/Services: 3PL transportation services Salary: 60 000$ - 90 000$ Commissions/Bonus: 8% on gross profit Car allowance: KM reimbursed Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses are reimbursed Other Benefits: Full benefits package (50% paid by the employer) Functions: Prospect and identify new business opportunities Maintain existing business and focused on growing the account Respond to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s). Research and analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies Establish a pipeline of potential customers through networking, cold calling, referrals, and other sales tactics. Prepare and present our solutions Meet or exceed sales targets Keep up-to-date records within our CRM of suspects and prospects Build long-term relationships Requirements: Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10% Road vs Office: 90% vs 10% Languages: Bilingual Education: Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, or equivalent of education and work experience in the transportation industry Training: Training will be provided by the employer Overnight Travel: Little to none Years’ of experience: 2-5 years in a similar role Other requirements: Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written) Proven experience in 3PL freight brokerage sales Book of business Energetic Hard Working Entrepreneurial Accountable Proactive. Transferable contacts: Book of business Transferable Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet and job-specific CRM (Pipe Drive)
