Video Editor

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Video Editor who excels in creating engaging, high-quality educational videos and tutorials— similar to LinkedIn Learning, MasterClass, and other top-tier online courses . In this role, you will be responsible for producing structured, easy-to-follow instructional videos that enhance the learning experience for our students. Your expertise in motion graphics, smooth transitions, and professional-level editing will be crucial in making our courses visually engaging and highly effective. Key Responsibilities

• Edit & Enhance : Transform raw footage into polished, professional-quality educational videos, ensuring clarity, consistency, and engagement. Manage post-production processes by executing video edits, color correction, sound mixing, motion graphics, and special effects to enhance video content, making it more dynamic and impactful.
• Motion Graphics & Visual Storytelling : Create dynamic animations, infographics, lower-thirds, and transitions to enhance instructional content.
• Course Structuring : Work closely with educators and instructional designers to structure content for optimal learning flow and retention.
• Brand Consistency : Maintain a cohesive visual and auditory style aligned with the Aliens Tattoo & LILA brand.
• Quality Control : Conduct thorough reviews to ensure the highest production quality, including color grading, audio mixing, and video optimization.
• File Management & Organization : Maintain a well-organized library of assets, ensuring easy retrieval and reusability.
• Stay Updated : Keep up with the latest trends in video editing, motion graphics, and e-learning content creation.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience

• Minimum 5-6 years of experience in video editing and motion graphics, with a strong portfolio of educational content, tutorials, or e-learning videos .
• Previous work with LinkedIn Learning-style courses, online education platforms, or corporate training videos is a huge plus.

Technical Skills :

• Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro (FCP) (mandatory).
• Expertise in motion graphics, animation, and visual effects (After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent).
• Strong color correction and grading abilities.
• Basic knowledge of camera operations and cinematography for optimizing raw footage.
• Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to craft engaging narratives through video.

Soft Skills & Work Ethic :

• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• A problem-solving mindset , capable of working both independently and collaboratively.
