Job Overview We are looking for an Education Counsellor with in-depth knowledge of Ireland’s education system. The ideal candidate should be a self-driven professional capable of handling end-to-end student applications, visa assistance, and chasing all leads independently. This role requires someone who can work without much micromanagement and report daily on student progress and leads. Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one counselling to students and parents regarding study opportunities in Ireland.
- Assist students in selecting suitable courses and universities based on academic background, career aspirations, and financial considerations.
- Manage end-to-end application processes, including document verification, SOP & LOR guidance, and timely submissions.
- Guide students through Ireland’s visa application process, ensuring compliance with financial and immigration regulations.
- Stay updated on university admission deadlines, scholarships, tuition fees, and job prospects in Ireland.
- Chase and follow up on all leads to maximize student conversions.
- Work independently, taking ownership of tasks without requiring frequent supervision.
- Report daily on student progress, lead status, and admissions updates.
- Liaise with universities, embassies, and visa authorities for seamless processing.
- Organize seminars, webinars, and education fairs to promote Ireland as a study destination.
- Provide pre-departure guidance and assist students after visa approval.
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years in overseas education counselling, with specialization in Ireland.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ireland’s universities, admission processes, visa policies, and post-study work opportunities.
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
- Languages: Fluency in English and Tamil (preferred).
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software, MS Office, and online application portals.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, chase all leads, and report daily.
