Project Planning Engineer

Job Description: Sunways Global Group is seeking a Project Planning Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. This role is ideal for a highly organized and analytical individual with a strong foundation in project planning and execution. The selected candidate will work closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth execution of solar power and construction projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project execution, monitoring, and control.
• Assist in resource planning, budget estimation, and cost control measures.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and propose corrective actions.
• Prepare reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and mitigation planning for project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with procurement, design, and site teams to ensure timely project completion.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or coordination.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel .
• Knowledge of construction, solar power projects, or engineering services is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Certification in Project Management (PMP/PRINCE2) is an added advantage.
• Experience with solar power projects, engineering, or construction industries.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
