CTO/VP Software Engineering

Job Title: CTO / VP of Engineering Location: Remote (Candidates must be based in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, or Telangana) Company: Bitcot (Hiring for an Enterprising Client) About the Role: We are looking for a dynamic and visionary CTO / VP of Engineering to lead the technology and engineering teams for one of our enterprising clients. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who can drive innovation, transform ideas into scalable solutions, and lead cross-functional teams in a rapidly evolving market. Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing engineering teams across multiple functions.
• Architect and oversee the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions.
• Drive best practices in software development, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to deliver impactful solutions.
• Establish strong engineering culture, ensuring quality, innovation, and efficiency.
• Manage technical budgets, vendor relationships, and infrastructure investments.

• 12+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (CTO, VP of Engineering, or similar).
• Proven experience in SaaS/digital transformation/Software Product development
• Strong expertise in cloud computing, microservices, scalable architectures, and DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks (JavaScript, Python, Java, Node.js, etc.).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and data privacy regulations.
• Prior experience working in startups or fast-scaling companies is a plus.

• Remote role, but candidates must be based in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, or Telangana.
