Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Anywhere in India Work Type: Fully Remote Duration of the contract: Minimum a year (with possible of extension) Experience Level: 7+ Years Language: English JOB REQUIREMENTS: ABAP Developer We at SAP Field Service Management unit which is part of SAP CX organization are looking for talented and motivated engineers who can develop best in class integration solutions which can bring continuous business benefits to our customers. EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS: • 7+ years of experience in ABAP development especially ABAP OO. • Responsible for design, development, testing and support of components of a project module. • Works on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming concepts and principles. • Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad supervision/guidance. • Be self-motivated, team player, quick learner and willing to go beyond expectation to deliver beautiful and great quality products. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES: • Good Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent in computer science or related technical discipline • Strong programming background in ABAP/ABAP OO • Excellent technical skills in ABAP Core Data Services (CDS) modelling, RAP, OData, Test Driven Development (TDD), Fiori, extensibility and API development • Design and implement new RAP features with ABAP • Knowledge of ABAP unit testing • Exposure to agile development methodologies like Scrum • Experience or functional knowledge in S/4HANA Service/CS/PM is desirable • Exposure to all aspects of the s oftware development lifecycle (SDLC) and customer facing experience is a plus • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and changing business environment.
