GESS enables A&M’s client service delivery, go-to-market, risk management and growth goals as a strategic partner. Who are we looking for? Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized content writer/editor to join our Global Marketing team within our Global Capability Center (GCC) in Gurgaon, India. As a content writer/editor, you will ensure that key messages of A&M are reflected through stories that have maximum reach, and which support in increasing our communication impact through A&M’s owned channels. You should be a strategic, creative thinker, and enjoy working in a fast-paced working environment. You will need to have strong writing skills and a keen eye for detail, as you will play an important role in creating messaging strategies and refining and editing content that engages our audience, aligns with our brand voice, and supports A&M’s business objectives. This role reports to our Marketing Promotional Capabilities Manager and will work closely with other counterparts of the A&M marketing team and external vendors, to support editing and copywriting requests for the A&M website, thought leadership, social media and other corporate content deliverables across our digital platforms, whilst adhering to our compliance guidelines to protect and maintain the A&M brand. You will have excellent organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.   • Content Editing: Review and edit content for grammar, clarity, style, tone, and adhere to brand guidelines and help generate user engagement by demonstrating an understanding of A&M’s audience and our unique approach to problem-solving. Ensure content is SEO-optimized for the relevant digital platform that it will be showcased on.
  • Content Creation: Research, write, and produce high-quality content, including web page messaging for various industries, featured content on the A&M website homepage, and social media posts. Tailor content for various platforms, ensuring messaging is appropriate for each intended target audience.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure consistency in messaging and adherence to the A&M editorial guidelines across all content channels, as well as following our compliance guidelines to protect and maintain the A&M brand.
  • SEO & Analytics: Optimize content for search engines using relevant keywords and best practices. Analyze content performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  • Researching Industry Trends: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends, market insights and competitor analysis to guide content development and identify new opportunities and tools/processes that we can take advantage of.
  • Serve as a Point of Contact for Content Related Queries from the Marketing Team: Act as the go-to resource for content guidance, answering any queries that the marketing team may have. Resolve queries, content concerns or revisions promptly and ensure these are completed within the given timeframes. Provide feedback and recommendations on content, helping team members refine their work for maximum impact and engagement.
Required Experience & Skills We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a blend of creativity, expertise, and commitment. To succeed in this role, you should have:
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in writing , editing and managing digital content requests - previous experience in Professional Services is highly preferred.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and team members across different functions and regions.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on ensuring accuracy and consistency when editing/creating content and reviewing for compliance.
