Join us and act with purpose every day! Position Overview: We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Bid Manager to join our team. The Bid Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process for new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, bid writing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, competitive proposals that meet client expectations. Location: Mumbai / Bangalore Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Design & Bid Strategy:
Lead the development of bespoke solutions for clients, working closely with the Region BD Lead to craft tailored bid strategies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Human Resources, HSE) to design and execute winning proposals, ensuring alignment with client needs and company objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with subject matter experts across multiple departments, ensuring seamless internal coordination and timely delivery of high-quality bid collateral. Facilitate discussions, set clear expectations, and maintain a focus on achieving successful project outcomes.
  • P&L & Financial Management:
Have a solid understanding of profit and loss (P&L) statements and pricing structures. Ensure financial accuracy by reviewing and cross-checking numbers, ensuring that bids are both competitive and profitable. Articulate financial and operational aspects clearly to stakeholders through detailed reports and visual aids.
  • Analytical Insight & Market Intelligence:
Provide in-depth analysis of market trends, competitors, and client needs to support strategic decision-making. Utilize data analytics to drive client messaging, deliver deep dives on opportunities, and present market insights in both written and visual formats (e.g., infographics, executive summaries).
  • Client Engagement & Sales Support:
Partner with the sales team to support client-facing activities, including the preparation of meeting collateral, case studies, and proposal materials. Leverage data-driven insights to refine client presentations and enhance messaging to address specific client challenges.
  • Bid Coordination & Document Management:
Manage the entire bidding process from initial concept through to final submission. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather input and create a cohesive and compelling bid package, ensuring all technical and commercial aspects are clearly communicated to the client.
  • Team Collaboration & Leadership:
Demonstrate strong team player qualities by fostering a collaborative environment with both junior and senior stakeholders. Cultivate a solution-oriented mindset, ensuring that all teams work cohesively towards achieving project goals while maintaining a focus on continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
Apply operational curiosity and a management consultant mindset to continuously improve processes, enhance proposal quality, and innovate ways to effectively meet client needs. Strive for excellence in every aspect of the bid process and business development activities. Role Requirements:
  • Engineering Degree/MBA Degree
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in bid management, tender preparation, or similar roles, preferably within facilities management, hospitality, or a related industry.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage complex, high-value bids, and understand commercial and financial aspects of proposals.
