Job Title: Tag Manager [Tracking and Attribution] Location: Remote in South Africa UK Working Hours: 8am-4.30pm/9am-5.30pm  About our client: Our client is a leading digital agency that specializes in delivering high-performance creative assets for luxury brands targeting high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients. Their creative studio drives the visual direction of premium campaigns for some of the worlds most exclusive brands, offering high-end design services and innovative digital strategies. Job Description: Our client is looking for a Tag Manager to join their growing team. This role requires an expert in tag management and analytics, with the ability to manage the implementation and tracking of campaigns across multiple platforms. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure that tracking and attribution are set up correctly to deliver the most effective insights and performance data.

  • Act as the go-to expert for tracking and attribution: Provide expertise in ensuring accurate data is captured across clients websites and landing pages to support campaign tracking and performance analysis.
  • Set up and manage tracking for campaigns: Configure tracking solutions for clients websites, landing pages, and CRM platforms, ensuring that all necessary data is captured for accurate reporting.
  • Work closely with clients to ensure proper tracking implementation and provide expert advice on attribution strategies to track multi-touch points across user journeys.
  • Troubleshoot tracking issues: Quickly resolve any issues caused by website changes or tagging discrepancies, working directly with clients to ensure tracking and data accuracy is maintained.
  • Analytics expertise: Build and manage reports using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Funnel.io, and Looker Studio to monitor and report on campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all tracking needs are understood and implemented correctly across campaigns, including support for CRM tagging and third-party tools.
  • Ensure attribution best practices: Use third-party tools to track and report on multi-touch attribution, providing actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Work with various platforms: Leverage your expertise in Google Tag Manager, GA4, Funnel.io, Looker Studio, Zapier, and other tools to ensure comprehensive tracking and reporting is implemented effectively.

Requirements

  • Expert-level experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM): Proven expertise in setting up, configuring, and managing tags across multiple client websites and landing pages.
  • GA4 Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and experience in implementing and customizing it for reporting and data collection.
  • Attribution Experience: Solid understanding of multi-touch attribution using third-party tools to track user journeys across various touchpoints.
  • Funnel.io Experience: Hands-on experience with Funnel.io for automating and managing data reporting across different platforms.
  • Looker Studio Expertise: Ability to create, customize, and manage performance dashboards using Looker Studio (formerly Data Studio).
  • Zapier Experience: Familiarity with Zapier for automating workflows and connecting various applications for seamless data flow.
  • CRM Tagging Experience: Experience with tagging in CRM systems and managing data integration between CRM platforms and analytics tools.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to tagging, tracking, and analytics quickly and efficiently, often under tight deadlines.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Comfortable interacting with clients to explain technical issues, provide troubleshooting assistance, and offer best practice recommendations for tagging and analytics.
