CoNEX Healthcarre is an innovative health technology company focused on revolutionizing patient care with cutting-edge solutions. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a Business Development Associate to drive growth and marketing in key international markets. This role provides a unique opportunity for high-impact professionals to lead expansion efforts and pave the way for a potential Country Manager position in the future. The candidate will be reponsible for driving market entry, sales and marketing activities in strategic regions, such as USA, Australia, China, Hong Kong and Thailand. The candidate will have a strong track record in healthcare technology sales, experience carrying and exceeding quotas, and the ability to launch new business verticals within a startup environment. The role requires a charismatic, strategic, independent and results-driven leader with entreprenreurial experience. The candidate must be comfortable working independently after a brief onboarding period and will report directly to the Global Business Development manager. Candidate must also be prepared and work towards being deployed overseas to drive in-market business activities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in new regions, identifying the best approach (direct sales, partnerships, distributor networks, etc.) based on ROI.
- Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and healthcare decision-makers , navigating procurement processes and regulatory landscapes .
- Drive fundraising efforts , including engaging VCs, strategic investors, and government grants .
- Develop and execute networking and partnership strategies to establish Conex Healthcare in new regions.
- Identify and negotiate distributor or GPO/IDN contracts to accelerate market penetration.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to align customer needs with company offerings.
- Take ownership of new market launches , adapting sales strategies based on in-market learnings.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quota-carrying health technology sales , exceeding revenue targets consistently.
- Proven track record of bringing a health technology device to a new market and leading successful market entries .
- Experience in remote patient monitoring, digital health, or medtech is preferred.
- Entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial experience —prior CEO, Co-Founder, COO, or Country Manager experience in the health tech sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising (VC, grants, partnerships, or M&A deals) .
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to influence, take initiative, and lead teams .
- Experience managing hospital procurement and government healthcare processes .
- Charismatic, hard-working, strategic thinker , and a natural campaigner .
- Ability to work independently and take full ownership of market expansion efforts.
- Willing to relocate to Singapore for a minimum of 6 months for onboarding and move internationally based on market needs.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Thai, Japanese, or Mandarin is a strong advantage.
