Job Location: Qatar Experience: 1 to 7 years Education: Diploma; Graduate Job Function: Secretary / Front Office Skillset: Receptionist, greeting visitors, helping them navigate through an office, MS Excel, Word, Outlook & PowerPoint. Job Description:

  1. Assigns guests to the proper rooms upon check-in.
  2. Answers customer queries via phone, online, or in person.
  3. Manages phone and online reservations and event bookings.
  4. Processes customer payments and verifies credit card information.
  5. Maintains accurate records of bookings and payments.
  6. Escalates more critical issues and concerns to supervisor or appropriate teams.
Skills:
  1. Knowledge of hotel rates, packages, discounts, and how to handle each of them accordingly.
  2. Thorough knowledge of hotel credit policies and procedures.
  3. Knowledge of room locations, types of rooms, and room operations.
  4. Knowledge of Opera and registration operations.
  5. Knowledge of hotel property, hotel, and staff service with hours of operation.
  6. Good knowledge of reservation department processes, including handling same-day reservations and cancellation policies.
  7. Full knowledge of handling internal & external calls.
  8. Familiarity with office equipment.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  10. Customer service and customer-focused attitude.
  11. Organized, resourceful, and multitasking.
  12. Problem-solving abilities and ability to work under pressure.
  13. Filing, record-keeping, and scheduling.
  14. Processing transactions and correspondence tools.
  15. Active listening and professional appearance.
