Rust Developer

Job Title: Senior Rust Developer – AI-Assisted Development & Code Optimization Location: Remote Experience: 4+ Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Rust Developer to work on an innovative project focused on AI-assisted Rust development . This role involves working with real-world Rust codebases , implementing new features, debugging complex issues, refactoring for efficiency, and ensuring memory safety and correctness through rigorous testing. Key Responsibilities:

• Navigate and modify complex Rust codebases using CLI tools like grep and ripgrep .
• Develop and implement new features while adhering to Rust’s memory safety, ownership rules, and type correctness .
• Write and execute comprehensive tests using cargo test , including property-based testing with proptest or quickcheck .
• Refactor Rust code while ensuring optimal performance and functionality.
• Debug and resolve memory safety, ownership, and concurrency-related issues.
• Set up and manage Rust development environments using cargo , including handling dependencies and feature flags .
• Maintain best practices in Rust development, including proper error handling, concurrency management, and efficient memory usage .

• 4+ years of experience in Rust development , with expertise in ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes .
• Proficiency in Rust frameworks like Tokio, Actix, and Rocket , along with libraries such as Serde and Rayon .
• Experience with Rust’s testing ecosystem , including unit, integration, and property-based testing .
• Strong understanding of multi-threading and asynchronous programming in Rust.
• Ability to work with complex architectural patterns and refactor code without introducing regressions.
• Excellent debugging skills , especially for memory and concurrency issues .
• Experience with performance profiling and benchmarking using cargo bench .
