We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a Mobile Crane Operator, you will play a crucial role in our construction projects, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations across various job sites in the city.
Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and place materials and equipment according to project requirements.
- Conduct daily inspections of crane equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Interpret and follow load charts, site plans, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with ground personnel and other team members using hand signals and radio equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on crane equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures.
- Assist in planning lift operations and determining appropriate rigging methods.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly.
- Participate in regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a mobile crane operator.
- Valid mobile crane operator certification (e.g., NCCCO).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in operating various types of mobile cranes.
- In-depth knowledge of crane safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret load charts accurately.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and perform crane operations in various weather conditions.
- Detail-oriented approach to work with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Understanding of construction site operations and familiarity with rigging techniques.
- Willingness to work in various construction sites across Dubai.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends when required.
