Key Responsibilities
- Product Vision and Strategy: • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the AI-powered Seismic Interpretation System. • Understand market needs, industry trends, and customer requirements to identify opportunities for integrating advanced AI technologies in subsurface domains. • Work closely with stakeholders to align product goals with business objectives.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team of subsurface experts, including geophysicists, geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers, and data scientists. • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
- Product Development: • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to launch. • Collaborate with data scientists and domain experts to integrate AI algorithms into various subsurface applications, including seismic data interpretation, reservoir modeling, and formation evaluation. • Ensure the product meets high standards of quality, reliability, and user experience.
- Stakeholder Management: • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and executive leadership, to gather feedback and refine product features. • Communicate product updates, timelines, and key milestones to all relevant parties.
- Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence: • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and challenges in the subsurface interpretation space. • Stay abreast of advancements in AI and machine learning, particularly in their applications to subsurface domains.
- Product Launch and Post-Launch Support: • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies, including product positioning, pricing, and promotion. • Monitor product performance, gather user feedback, and iterate on product features to enhance customer satisfaction and product adoption.
- Educational Background: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geophysics, Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. • An MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus.
- Experience: • Proven experience in product management, with a focus on AI, machine learning, or subsurface related products. • Strong understanding of various subsurface domains, such as seismic interpretation, reservoir engineering, and petrophysics. • Experience working with subsurface data and interpretation technologies is highly desirable.
- Skills: • Excellent leadership and team management skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
