For more information about us, please visit our website About the Opportunity: Sales Representative - Industrial Sales (Western Canada) We have an exciting opportunity for a sales-oriented professional to join our team as a Technical Sales Representative. This is an excellent opportunity to use your experience to contribute to the growth and development of our team. In this role you will be responsible to:
- Develop and maintain support of local accounts and primary contacts with direct assistance from the ProMinent Inside Sales and Technical Teams
- Promote new and existing products and services to the targeted market segments
- Work with client's engineers to develop specifications around the ProMinent offering and to understand and communicate needs specific to the projects back to the team
- Participate in arranging and facilitating regional training and technical events to educate targeted clients
- Develop long term strategy in the growth of targeted companies with the sales geography
- Liaise with other members to help develop and deploy national strategies for growth and support of the targeted projects
- Manage growth strategies with distributors to support their success in growing market share around the ProMinent offering
- Collect and share competitive information with the team specific to the market segments and the primary targeted clients
- Assemble and communicate project and quote opportunities effectively to the internal applications and inside sales team in a timely fashion to accommodate client's deadlines and work requirements
- Participate in actively following up and closing proposals
- Log sales activities pertinent to the development of relationships with clients in Sales Force
- Create and log new project opportunities in Sales Force ahead of formal RFQ stages
- Identify the opportunity for new standards in support of the long-term client relationship (making it easier for them to purchase from us)
- Provide market intel on project quotes such as competitive analysis, market price and specific hot button or key elements to express in the proposal
- Develop and maintain Sales Force to track Key Performance Indicators
- Participate in bi-weekly team meetings where review of goals and KPIs will be discussed
- Participate as needed in trade shows and events / meetings specific to the market segment
