Our Client Advance Steel Manufacturing Pty Ltd ABN - 90 654 329 585 – Located in Salisbury, QLD, 4107 is seeking someone to fill a Full-time position of Electrical Engineering Technician – Machinery for between $73,000 - $75,000.

We’re looking for intelligent, experienced, and energetic people who are committed to their trade with a willingness to work efficiently autonomously and within a team. This position will be working within our production team reporting to operations manager.

DUTIES:

  • Assembling, installing, testing, calibrating, modifying, and repairing electrical equipment including computer numerical electrical equipment control and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements.
  • Preparing drawings, plans and diagrams of electrical installations and circuitry for equipment and machinery which include Co2 flat bed and tube laser, turret punch, Press brake, robotic welder machines.
  • Assisting with layout of electrical installations and circuitry on motor control systems & machinery as well as programming of these equipment
  • Collecting data, performing tests and complex calculations, graphing results, and
  • Preparing charts and tabulations
  • Estimating materials costs and quantities
  • Undertaking technician functions such as installing assemblies for protection relays, metering and indicating devices across all equipment and machinery

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years fulltime work experience
  • Relevant qualification
  • Driver’s License
  • Must be prepared to adhere with the company’s Workplace Health and Safety standards and requirements
