In this dynamic position, you'll play a pivotal role in driving accountability for Discrete Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and SHES performance while evaluating value-added propositions from a global strategic perspective.You'll collaborate directly with functional leaders and senior regional executives, ensuring delivery of impactful initiatives for Orica. Additionally, you'll oversee Discrete Manufacturing performance to ensure alignment with Opex targets. If you thrive in a high-impact role with global reach, this is your opportunity to make a difference!What you will be doing Partner with senior leaders to monitor financial performance, control fixed costs, and analyze cost drivers. Review operational and strategic business cases to align with Group and functional strategy and metrics (RONA, NPV, ROI). Improve processes through lean strategies and develop automated financial and non-financial reports using Power BI and Excel. Implement cost reduction initiatives and manage related risks and opportunities. Consolidate functional results and analyze monthly performance (e.g., volumes, overheads, FTE, unit costs) using SAP, Excel, and Power BI. Ensure accurate and compliant reporting, forecasting, and budgeting for Discrete Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and business functions. Collaborate with Global Program owners to account for and capitalize transactions per approved strategies. Manage global cost centers, JV recharges, and associated templates, methodologies, and documentation. Collaborate with senior leadership on ad-hoc financial and non-financial analyses. Address performance deviations promptly and ensure accountability within the team. Ensure high accuracy in budgeting and forecasting for the business. Lead the annual budget process for Discrete Manufacturing, SHES, and Supply Chain, aligning with Group standards. Engage with FBPs and the BAPR team to enhance and streamline product costing. What you will bring A tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business, preferably professional designation such as CA, CMA, or CPA. Over 5 years of post-graduate experience in accounting, finance, or a related field. Proven experience working in large, global businesses, with a solid understanding of manufacturing and operational processes. Proficiency in SAP, SAP Hana, Power BI, Excel, and Power Point. People leadership experience. Demonstrated expertise in Finance Business Partnering, including strategic support and decision-making. Flexible with work schedules to meet business needs. Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence, lead, and drive change effectively.
